摘要: This article reports the reduction of [{2,6-iPr2C6H3NC(CH3)}2C6H3SnCl] (1) with potassium graphite to afford a new distannyne [{2,6-iPr2C6H3NC(CH3)}2C6H3Sn]2 (2) Sn–Sn bond. The most striking phenomenon 2 is presence two differently coordinated Sn atoms (one three-coordinated, other four-coordinated). bond length in 2.8981(9) A, which very close that single (2.97–3.06 A). To elucidate nature bond, DFT calculation carried out shows there no multiple character 2. Furthermore, reaction white P4 affords tetraphosphabicylobutane derivative 3. first example gentle activation phosphorus by compound low valent atoms. Note that, unlike 2, 3 both are four-coordinated.
