摘要: This paper investigates the provision of public transport in Ahmedabad, India, by Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) terms accessibility it provides to commuting and work activities. The activity participation travel habits individuals were determined conducting a primary survey September 2002. These individual, temporal, spatial characteristics AMTS buses activities entered into GIS-based time-space model find total number feasible locations that can be accessed using service from various residential areas. Results indicate very few clusters had proper access workplaces varied spatially depending upon participating income group workplace. reason for this was found high access, egress, waiting time required while buses.
