Congenital cardiac defects in calves.

摘要: In a 14-year study of calves with cardiac defects, 36 had 78 congenital defects: ectopia cordia cervicalis (n = 10 defects), common aortic trunk 3 dextraposed aorta 8 duplicated major trunks 1 defect), hypoplastic 2 interventricular septal defect 11), interatrial 2), left ventricular hypoplasia 10), patent ductus arteriosus 5), foramen ovale right cor triloculare biatriatum 1), endocardial fibroelastosis calcification 3), and valvular hematomas 7). All defects were high in location ranged from 5 to 35 mm diameter. One calf also bilateral microphthalmia.
