摘要: This study investigates the relation between material gradient properties and optimum sensing/actuation design of functionally graded piezoelectric beams. Three-dimensional (3D) finite element analysis has been employed for prediction an composition profile in these types sensors actuators. To this end, various static tests beams with different geometric parameters, index, mechanical electrical boundary conditions are considered. The obtained numerical results present not only would help selection a most suitable volume fraction distribution actuators but also give comprehensive insight about electro-mechanical behavior structures. Moreover, could serve as benchmark to assess one-dimensional beam theories. Keywords: Piezoelectric actuators, Functionally materials, Stress minimization, Optimum design, Finite method
