摘要: Population size and density, age structure, survivorship patterns, sex ratios, social organization of urban, rural, feral dog ( Canis familiaris ) populations were examined in Cd. Juarez, Mexico (urban site) on the Navajo reservation (rural wild sites) between June 1983 December 1984. Urban rural dogs less than expected whereas characteristically lived packs. Seasonal variation structure packs was influenced by reproduction, both directly (pups born into pack) indirectly (pregnant females may temporarily emigrate form pack to give birth).
