摘要: In trying to modify partially acetylated chitosan (CS) marine polymers ground from crab or shrimp shells for use as environmentally benign water-base coatings aluminum (Al) substrates, CS was dissolved in a solution of HCL acid, and then mixed with corn starch-derived dextrine (DEX) containing Ce nitrate oxidizing agent aqueous medium. This blend polysaccharides deposited on Al surfaces by simple dip-withdrawing method, heated at 200°C transform the liquid layer into solid film. The → phase transition provided changes molecular conformation DEX ; former transformed deacetylated poly(D-glucosamine) latter referred formation Ce-complexed carboxylate fragments. Furthermore, chemical reactions between NH2 groups fragments led creation amide linkages that served grafting onto CS. Such fragment-grafted polymer coating films deduced proper proportions offered great film-forming performance, low susceptibility moisture, ionic conductivity, conferring salt-spray resistance 720 hours.
