Detection of structural concavities in character images--a writer-independent approach

摘要: In this paper, we present a novel technique for detection of concave regions as structural information character images. The problem difficulty lies in reporting all concavities irrespective the viewing direction on 2D plane. our approach, detect by analyzing sequence discrete turns taken to describe stroke; hence, it becomes view-invariant. proposed method has added advantage detecting same particular written different individuals. We have tested printed and handwritten Bangla Hindi isolated Initial results demonstrate efficacy approach.
