摘要: The effective linewidth technique has been applied at 10 GHz and room temperature to single-crystal barium ferrite with uniaxial anisotropy. Effective linewidths were obtained from measurements of the positive field tails FMR (ferromagnetic resonance) absorption dispersion curves for circular disks ranging in thickness 0.33 1.75 mm. ranged 125 2850 Oe, vary linearly square disk thickness. This linear relation is consistent an eddy current loss process. A fit data rudimentary theory yields a resistivity 0.8 Omega -cm. result 1-4 -cm determined 10-GHz dielectric 20 DC measurements. vs sample extrapolated zero indicates intrinsic 60+or-45 Oe. results indicate that, samples thicker than about 0.3 mm, losses are dominated by due currents material. >
