Although numerous academic and governmental scholars have recognised existence profiling, Federal Bureau Investigation (FBI), America's premier agency, is apparently either unable or unwilling to investigate these allegations proactively. In this article, author will review a reactive investigation conducted FBI into in South Louisiana that developed out furore surrounding two nationally televised NBC ‘Dateline’ broadcasts January August 1997.
