摘要: Rock-water interaction was studied between goethite and arsenite to understand the mobilization of arsenic from goethite, a major constituent Bengal Delta Plain (BDP) matrix. Goethite synthesized following standard methods ferrihydrite precipitation further transformation goethite. Characterization carried out using FT-IR, XRD TEM. As (III) adsorption broadly follows both Langmuir Freundlich isotherms. on found be pH dependant. Optimum loading has been estimated at 8.93 mg/g for an initial concentration 1.04 mg/L.
