摘要: Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) represent the most abundant type of genetic polymorphism in plant genomes. SNP markers are valuable tools for analysis complex traits agronomic importance, linkage and association mapping, genome-wide selection, map-based cloning, marker-assisted selection. Current challenges genotyping polyploid outcrossing species include multiple alleles per loci lack high-throughput methods suitable variant detection. In this study, we report on a high-resolution melting (HRM) system mapping tetraploid genotypes. The sensitivity utility technology is demonstrated by identification parental genotypes segregating progeny six alfalfa populations based unique curve profiles due to differences allelic composition at one or loci. HRM using 384-well format fast, consistent, efficient approach discovery genotyping, useful with uncharacterized Possible applications method variation discovery, candidate genes, comparative integration selection breeding programs.
