摘要: The question is how do Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEMs) give us access to the nano world? images these instruments produce, I argue, not al- low see atoms in same way that we trees. To extent SEMs and STMs allow occupants of world it by metaphorical extension concept "seeing". more general claim changes sci- entific instrumentation effect concepts central our understanding scientific results.
