摘要: This disclosure provides a compression system for edited images which have previously been compressed. The preferred uses software to track and determine the nature of edits made each image frame. Each frame is divided into spatial regions, codes defining changes are then stored in set tables called “registry edits.” When it time compress output, re-compression interrogates registry whether regions has altered manner that undermines integrity original data. For example, if compressed signal modified domain add logo local television station, most will remain unchanged motion vectors residuals (or other representation) from an input may be re-used, thereby saving substantial processing minimizing introduction additional quantization errors. embodiment used with any digital editor or computer substantially reduce resources required provide output signal.
