摘要: This paper proposes Trajectory-based Statistical Forwarding (TSF) scheme, tailored for the multihop data delivery from infrastructure nodes (e.g., Internet access points) to moving vehicles in vehicular ad hoc networks. To our knowledge, this presents first attempt investigate how effectively utilize packet destination vehicle's trajectory such an infrastructure-to-vehicle delivery. is performed through computation of a target point based on that optimal rendezvous and vehicle. TSF forwards packets over selected where vehicle expected pass by. Such optimally minimize delay while satisfying required probability. The optimality achieved analytically by utilizing packet's distribution travel distribution. Through theoretical analysis extensive simulation, it shown design provides efficient forwarding under variety traffic conditions.
