摘要: The analysis of 35 bottom trawls taken on the slope in Catalan Sea (western Mediterranean) has shown existence two different demersal fish assemblages occurring upper (350–650 m) and middle (1150–1300 slope. assemblage is characterized by much higher values some ecological parameters such biomass mean weight, resulting from dominance to large size species (e.g. Alepocephalus rostratus, Trachyrhynchus trachyrhynchus, Mora mom). On stations were considered, one inside other outside a submarine canyon. Only slight differences found composition, hence sample not clearly separated correspondence analysis. However, interesting exist between these stations. Much abundance canyon indicative food availability there. Moreover, drop weight was also noted distributions commonest along showed that acts as recruiting ground for them.
