摘要: The shallow underground of rock debris is a unique animal refuge. Nevertheless, the research this habitat lags far behind study caves and soil, due to technical time-consuming demands. Data on Myriapoda in scree from eleven localities seven different geomorphological units Czech Slovak Republics were processed. Based previous studies, as well knowledge cave soil fauna, it was hypothesised that occurrence varied peculiar fauna would show pattern depth distribution with variations local specificities. From 2005-2016 (at least one year each site), macrofauna collected via sets three long-term exposed subterranean traps consisting 110 cm long perforated tube, ten cups located gradient at 5-95 below surface. In total, 14 symphylans (not identified species level), 271 centipedes (23 spp.) 572 millipedes (32 sampled. overall appeared have relatively similar pattern, both groups being found all levels. depends locations. trend lines are mostly form an asymmetric 'U', decreased abundance until middle gradient, followed by increase deepest Epigeic sporadically distributed along whole but concentrated surface, while some species, such centipede Lithobius lucifugus Geoglomeris subterranea, Cibiniulus slovacus Archiboreoiulus pallidus, recorded parts gradient. This characterises community mixture absence exclusively caves. use fixation methods had significant selective impact samples; either attracted ethylene glycol or repelled formaldehyde. Centipedes also captured more frequently glycol; however, composition fixatives. Depth myriapods fixative solutions. Traps these fixatives could be recommended for ecological studies.
