摘要: One embodiment provides a system that performs in-order traffic aggregation from number of low-speed ports to high-speed port. During operation, the receives at port packet, stores it in store-and-forward FIFO associated with port, extracts sequence stored and extracted sequence-number The further generates an expected number, which maintains linear order respect numbers previously forwarded packets, determines whether front end matches number. If so, removes buffer, retrieves packet it, forwards retrieved on updates by adding 1 packet.
