摘要: Cdc2, a cyclin-dependent kinase, controls cell cycle progression in fission yeast. New details of Cdc2 regulation and function have been uncovered recent studies. These studies involve cyclins that associate with G1-phase the proteins regulate inhibitory phosphorylation during S-phase G2-phase. Recent investigations also provided better understanding DNA replication are directly or indirectly controlled by Cdc2.
