摘要: The complexity of environmental systems requires joint effort from different disciplines such as ecology, chemistry, geography, geology, hydrology, hydraulics etc. Pure or hard sciences strive to be exact, expressing the behavior physical by means “laws” encoded for instance partial differential equations complicated dynamical systems. On other hand, social and biological sciences, ecology express their knowledge mostly in form connections rules, rather than an explicit mathematical form. It is thus extremely difficult combine these models order construct complex models.
