摘要: This review addresses in particular the reductive cleavage of groups X from α-substituted carbonyl compounds (equation 1). Since such studies have almost always involved ketones, group is understood herein to be that a ketone unless stated otherwise. usually heteroatom (most often halogen, but also oxygen, sulfur or nitrogen, and occasionally other atoms as selenium tellurium), can carbon special cases. many cleavages type (1) involve production enol enolate ion intermediates, alternative reaction paths involving components medium are sometimes observed. Where these carbon–carbon bond formation, they more properly treated elsewhere this series. A few reactions however referred where appropriate mechanistic point view, covers conversions derivatives.
