摘要: Objective To introduce a new classification of Enneking type IV pelvic tumors involving the sacrum and corresponding system standardized surgical approaches procedures for resection such tumors, to investigate feasibility therapeutic effect system. Methods Data on 59 patients treated between February 2003 2013 by were retrospectively reviewed. The study subjects comprised 28 male 31 female with mean age at diagnosis 36 years (range, 2–72 years). There are four subtypes in classification: (i) subtype IVa, neoplasms invading ipsilateral sacral wing; (ii) IVb, foramina; (iii) IVc, contralateral (iv) IVd, whole sacrum. Standardized devised en-bloc each adequate margins. Results Adequate margins achieved 43/59 (72.9%). operation time was 5.0 h intraoperative blood loss 2157 mL. At final follow-up, 27/53 (50.9%) who had been followed up alive complete remission. Musculoskeletal Tumor Society 93 score 17.4 (58%) possible 30 points. functional undergone zone II 15.2, compared 19.0 those an intact II. Conclusions The proposed protocols should help orthopaedic surgeons achieve margins, manage risk, better oncologic outcomes, minimize perioperative complications when treating massive
