摘要: We propose and develop a technique for designing special class of nonmagnetic metamaterials possessing desired dielectric optical properties over broad frequency band. The involves the design nanostructured metallodielectric materials (photonic crystals) with layered geometry where metal content in each layer has to be determined using fitting procedure. For illustration, we demonstrate performance our tailoring having epsilon-near-zero on-demand refractive index (real or imaginary part) One-, two-, as well three-dimensional geometries have been considered. In one-dimensional two-dimensional cases, results semi-analytical calculations are validated by ab initio FDTD simulations.
