摘要: We propose a new method to produce an electric and magnetic dipolar gas of ultracold dysprosium atoms. The pair nearly degenerate energy levels opposite parity, at $17513.33\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{cm}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ with electronic angular momentum $J=10$, $17514.50\text{ $J=9$, can be mixed external field, thus inducing dipole moment in the laboratory frame. For field amplitudes relevant current-day experiments, i.e., $5\text{ }\mathrm{kV}/\mathrm{cm}$, we predict large up 13 Bohr magnetons, sizeable 0.22 D. When is present, show that induced strongly dependent on angle between fields. lifetime field-mixed found millisecond range, allowing for suitable experimental detection manipulation.
