摘要: This study tested for fluctuations on short-term consistency (within about 1 month) in the isotopic niche of a pelagic seabird species. Short-term was assessed using wide-ranging apex predator, Cory's shearwaters Calonectris diomedea, along 3-year (2010-2012), during both pre-laying and chick-rearing periods, with markedly inter- intra-annual differences foraging spatial distribution at sea width. We used individual movement data stable isotope data, analysed recent metrics based Bayesian framework, 69 adults breeding small neritic island North Atlantic (39A degrees 24'N, 009A 30'W). As expected, our results confirm that expansion could arise via increased variation among individuals. Results suggest related to their different patterns periods and, ultimately, presumably temporal changes availability predictability food resources. higher persistent when population showed an intermediate width absent either smaller or larger period. These is important characteristic this period may fluctuate depending resources should be understand dynamics ecology seabirds general.
