摘要: The purpose of this study is to explain, using fundamental theories interparticle forces, the difference in transport and dispersion between various sorbents. This project closely tied with 1.1 through focus maximum utilization sorbent materials used LIMB process. Interparticle forces lead agglomeration or removal tube walls fine particles, reducing sulfur capabilities. In first second years, pneumatic powders was investigated for four typical materials, calcium carbonate, dolomite, dolomitic hydrate hydrated lime. Results indicate that lime has best flowability. Studies third year involved investigating improving performance additives. addition liposulfonate water hydration appears improve both dispersibility reactivity resulting product hydrate. Increased available surface area reaction, as expected. However, applications where powder flowability becomes important, such use flue-gas desulfurization, a balance must be considered. If poor flowability, added may not utilized.
