Papillary cystic and solid tumour of the pancreas: Report of a case and literature review

摘要: The papillary cystic and solid tumour of the pancreas (PCSTP) is a rare primary neoplasm unknown pathogenesis typically found in young women. PCSTP low-grade malignant tumour, which often asymptomatic but it may present with abdominal pain. A 38 year old female patient who presented one day history epigastric pain was diagnosed as PCSTP. successfully treated distal pancreatectomy. It important to differentiate this from other pancreatic tumours because, unlike tumours, does not usually metastasise amenable cure after complete surgical resection. However, cell origin aetiology are clear further studies warranted its pathogenesis.
