摘要: Soil losses in vineyards, adjacent forest and grazing land at Pokolbin, Hunter Valley, New South Wales, Australia, were measured using splash boxes, runoff-erosion plots, caesium-137 Australian modified versions of the Universal Loss Equation. Compared with forested sites, soil by rainsplash from bare surfaces (clean-till vineyards) ten times greater. On small runoff can be 100 greater for simulated vineyard conditions (bare soil) compared land. Caesium-137 measurements showed that average net loss vineyards was 18 t ha -1 year . whereas on grazed land, rates between 0.19 0.79 One USLE-type model, SOILOSS, provided lower estimates than another version, better correlated derived erosion rates. In general terms, a 3 kg is equivalent to yield one bottle wine.
