A secure, scalable and versatile multi-layer client–server architecture for remote intelligent data processing

摘要: In recent years, the need for data collection and analysis is growing in many scientific disciplines. This consequently causing an increase of research automated management mining to create reliable methods analysis. To deal with smart environments big computational resources, some previous works proposed address problem by moving on remote processing, aim sharing supercomputer algorithms costs. Following this trend, work we propose architecture advanced processing a secure, versatile client–server environment that capable integrating pre-existing local software. order assess feasibility our proposal, developed case study context image-based medical diagnostic environment. Our tests demonstrated has several benefits: system throughput, easy upgradability, maintainability scalability. Moreover, scenario have considered, showed very low transmission overhead which settles about 2.5 % widespread 10/100 mbps. Security been achieved using certificates up-to-date standards.
