摘要: Soil, one of the most important natural resources, is becoming degraded due to anthropogenic activities. Each source contamination has its own damaging effects plants, animals, and humans, but pollution from heavy metals serious concern a big potential threat environment human health. This chapter gives general overview (1) some sources metal contaminants in soil like mining, agricultural activities, sewage sludge, fossil fuel combustion, metallurgical chemical industries, electronics, etc.; (2) soil–plant relationships regarding metals; (3) tolerance mechanism(s) plants; (4) introduces approaches used nowadays reclaim polluted soils. These technologies must be easy use, sustainable, economically feasible.
