ENVISAT tropical validation of cloud and ozone parameters by high-altitude aircraft.

摘要: SUMMARY. ‐ The validation of cloud top and ozone vertical column, measured by SCIAMACHY, were carried out respectively lidars in-situ remote-sensing instruments on-board the high altitude Geophysica aircraft. Cloud measurements conducted during transfer flights from Europe to Brazil in Tropics, Aracatuba, January end February 2005. Validation campaign, financed ESA, was embedded within a scientific campaign frame two EC projects: APE-INFRA Troccinox. MIPAS-ENVISAT products planned means corresponding instrument MIPAS-STR which also Geophysica, other instruments. Some results are reported here; however, MIPAS data ENVISAT not available. In general validations show some discrepancies between collected on board ENVISAT, cannot easily be explained displacement satellite aircraft measurements.
