摘要: Abstract The Middle Permian Gufeng Formation in the northeastern Yangtze platform, China, contains radiolarian chert that is characterized by black color, high content of Fe, Mo, Ni, Cu, and Zn. Based on inorganic geochemical features, previous work concluded cherts were deposited under sulfate-reducing conditions. In this study, organic carbon (C org ), N S contents H/C O/C ratios kerogen examined to explore origin matter. concentration C extremely relative other accretionary complexes continental platforms. average C/N ratio matter 35, indicating originates from land plants. classed as type IV based ratios, suggesting oxidized or reworked was supplied basin. Therefore, considered originate terrestrial plants material land. Due depositional setting a nutrient with probably played an important role abundant biogenic productivity sedimentation platform.
