Murine experimental autoimmune gastritis models refractive to development of intrinsic factor autoantibodies, cobalamin deficiency and pernicious anemia

摘要: Researchers have developed murine lymphopenic, non-lymphopenic, transgenic, spontaneous and infectious agent based models to induce an experimental autoimmune gastritis (EAG) for the study of human organ-specific disease. These result in a chronic inflammatory mononuclear cell infiltrate gastric mucosa, destruction parietal zymogenic cells with autoantibodies reactive H+/K+ ATPase (ATP4), arguably hallmarks (AIG). In case AIG, it is well documented that, addition antibodies being detected up 90% patients, 70% intrinsic factor later considered highly specific patients pernicious anemia. This first report specifically investigating occurrence antibodies, cobalamin deficiency anemia EAG models. We conclude, contrast three examined, not selected as critical autoantigen.
