摘要: Ambulatory chemotherapy allows high-dose to be delivered in an outpatient facility with multidisciplinary planning and management. At University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, this model of care has been successfully applied a teenage young adult population. A mobile infusion device, CADD-Solis VIP pump allowed supportive therapy administration the ambulatory setting. Continuous intermittent therapies have delivered. Patients attend unit daily for assessment treatment set up. Overnight, they reside nearby accommodation. are educated self-manage, promoting independence empowerment; however, also 24-hour access nursing medical advice. Clear communication patient education, adopting team approach clear guidance patients staff, is essential make successful.
