摘要: Abstract Coulomb energy differences, obtained from isobaric analog states, were made the subject of a careful quantitative study in strings isotopes with closed proton shells. The behavior these energies increasing neutron excess Ca was found to differ qualitatively that Ni or Sn isotopes. With measured values charge radii, differences are used deduce radii and nuclear matter radii. It is concluded addition f 7 2 neutrons does little change radius core shells 40Ca while polarizes appreciably. trend similar each three series
