摘要: In this study, the relationship between enzyme activities involved in oxygen metabolism and degrees of tolerance black-pigmented Bacteroides was investigated. All strains tested possessed NADH oxidase superoxide dismutase, whereas catalase peroxidases were not detected cell-free extracts. There relatively high correlations ozygen activity either or dismutase. The dismutase showed a higher correlation with than that oxidase. Among species tested, gingivalis highest both enzymes most tolerant presence oxygen.
