摘要: Purpose Recently, cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) was developed and applied to presurgical imaging for dental implant treatment. Because the values obtained from CBCT images are not absolute values, unlike Hounsfield units by medical CT, relationship between of trabecular bone morphometry in small-volume CT multislice evaluated an vitro study. Materials methods Small-volume were performed posterior mandible. Subsequently, morphometric analysis using three-dimensional software, correlations volume per total tissue (BV/TV) generated analyzed. Results BV/TV ranged 3.1% 42.7%, with a mean 20.4% (SD: 11.4) when setting 0.5 threshold. The threshold 0.3 0.7, showed high level correlation (range: 0.83 0.93). Conclusions closely correlated images. It suggested that can be used evaluate density mandibular cancellous
