摘要: Abstract A special low-molecular-weight peptide named Gt factor, was isolated and purified via HPLC from the culture extract of brown-rot fungus Gloeophyllum trabeum. It had high-affinity Fe3+-chelating ability could reduce Fe3+ to Fe2+. In presence O2, it produce hydroxyl radicals HO . The effects factor on cellulose degradation suggested that disrupt inter- intra- hydrogen bonds in chains by a -involved mechanism. This resulted depolymerization chains, which produced more reducing non-reducing ends, thus making accessible for further degradation. pathway quite different hydrolytic processes driven cellulases, might play an important role early stage fungi.
