摘要: For some 2,500 years, arsenic was considered an important element of pharmacopeias and praised for its medicinal qualities. However, incidental link with cancer suggested during the nineteenth century, since that time a controversy has ensued regard to compound's tumorigenicity. Several epidemiological surveys, example, have induces lung, liver, or skin in humans. On other hand, all experimental attempts reproduce such neoplasms laboratory animals consistently failed, thereby denying support human data. Recently reported be mutagenic. because inconsistency most mutagenesis findings at present, this also cannot regarded as supporting evidence. Furthermore, recent trend been consider beneficial prevention maintaining health farm animals, and, perhaps, A critical review data from literature made attempt present objective picture controversial sensitive question encourage further research, which may ultimately determine whether deserves execrable reputation.
