摘要: Environmental consequences of economic growth and development became an area major national concern primarily in industrialized countries during the nineteen-sixties. Undesirable side-effects highly visible terms air, water, land, noise, pollution, people such concerned with continuing environmental degradation impacts on their health life-style. The emphasis, however, was physical environment. Two problems received much attention: constantly increasing resource-use developed countries, population explosion less-developed countries. Many doomsday scenarios were put forward, there a clamour for ‘no-growth’ West. This created apprehension because urgently needed to improve living-standards citizens. Thus, ‘pollution poverty’ important issue at UN Conference Human Environment, which held Stockholm 1972.
