摘要: Editor's note: The Society of Baylor Surgeons held a meeting on August 10 to 11, 2007: "Advances in Surgery and Surgical Education: Past 20 Years," honor Dr. Ronald C. Jones' 20th year as chairman the Department at University Medical Center. This society was founded 1981 by Robert Sparkman, past chief department, way reunite former surgery residents provide continuing surgical education for members medical staff.Under direction program director John Preskitt, MD, 2007 CME-accredited included presentations from four prominent guest speakers: Edward M. Copeland, president American College Surgeons; R. Scott Jones, professor emeritus Virginia Health System; Kirby I. Bland, Alabama; Stanley Dudrick, St. Mary's Hospital, Waterbury, Connecticut. In addition, 12 physicians made this meeting, some provided summaries, which are reproduced issue Proceedings.
