摘要: Glycolate oxidase (GOX) is one of the principal enzymes involved in pathway oxalate synthesis. It converts glycolate to glyoxylate by oxidation and then finally converted oxalate. Therapeutic intervention GOX this consequence thus found potential treatment calcium urolithiasis. In present investigation, we explored search leads from traditional resources. Molecular modeling identified leads, quercetin kaempherol, was performed employing Glide 5.5.211 (SchrodingerTM suite). absence pure human (hGOX) preparation, vitro experiments were on spinach (sGOX) as both possess 57% identity 76% similarity along with several conserved active site residues common. We aimed identify a possible mechanism action for anti-GOX Tribuls terrestris, which can be attributed anti-urolithic drug development. This study promising development future inhibitory leads.
