摘要: In order to assess the passive permeability characteristics of human intestine in vivo, we measured potential difference jejunum, ileum, proximal colon, and distal colon during perfusion various test solutions that were designed establish chemical gradients for sodium or chloride, both neither. addition, unidirectional fluxes chloride 30-cm segments jejunum ileum entire balanced electrolyte solution. These studies indicate there are marked differences pathways ion movement areas studied. this pathway appears be highly permeable with modest cation selectivity. is much more selective, predominantly because a relative impermeability chloride. on other hand, these appear anion than selective. The implication results normal transport physiology discussed.
