摘要: Polarized absorption and linear dichroism (LD) spectra of free base tetraphenylporphyrin (H2TPP) its Zn, Cu complexes are reported using polyethylene, polypropylene films liquid crystals as orienting matrices. No out-of-plane polarization was found in the range 300 nm < λ 700 for any porphyrin derivatives studied crystal phase. In contrast a distinct negative LD at about 400 H2TPP well metallo ZnTPP CuTPP stretched polymer foils indicates an transition caused by interactions with host matrix. This has been attributed to vibronic satellite electric-dipole forbidden 1(π,π*) state located Soret region. Changes visible region interpreted coupling foil. At low temperatures (5 K) splitting Q(0,0) transitions partially oriented observed foils. this temperature Q(0,1) band appeared superposition least eight broad transitions.
