摘要: Since sexual function and testosterone levels after image-guided proton therapy (IGPT) have not yet been examined in detail, we prospectively evaluated changes before IGPT. Among patients treated with IGPT or without combined androgen blockade (CAB) between February 2013 September 2014, who agreed to participate the study were followed up for >3 years evaluated. Serum regularly measured together prostate-specific antigen (PSA) The Erection Hardness Score (EHS) domain summary, subscale bother of Expanded Prostate Cancer Index Composite (EPIC) assessed. There 38 low-risk, 46 intermediate-risk 43 high- very-high-risk (NCCN classification). Although serum low-risk did decrease IGPT, reductions observed average EHS summary score EPIC. In intermediate-, patients, PSA both increased following termination CAB increased. gradually increased, but above minimally important differences. from 4.4 14.8 (P < 0.05) 12 months reached a plateau 60 months. results present would suggest potential further prospective studies directly compare other modalities are warranted.
