Internet use for active aging: A systematic literature review

摘要: Background: The number of older adult Internet users has been rising worldwide. Information and communication technology, namely the internet, recognized to provide a great potential new opportunities society as whole, active aging in particular. Objective: aim this paper was conduct systematic literature review determine empirical produced since 2005 about internet use applied aging. Method: Throughout application serious inclusion exclusion criteria, 30 papers were identified analyzed 646 potentially relevant ones. Results: study provides comprehensive main subject areas that research focused, concerning promote Conclusions: Although scarce, directly suggests an important promoter social participation, health, attitude change education for elderly, is differentiated according different profiles elder users.
