摘要: This paper presents the 'MediaWatch on Climate Change', an interactive Web portal that combines a portfolio of semantic services with visual interface based tightly coupled views. The enables users to access repository environmental knowledge, built by crawling about 300,000 news media articles in weekly intervals. Tagging annotate each article create contextualized information space. A system component for automatically extending ontologies helps structure knowledge repository, and feeds ontology-based visualization module. is intended facilitate complex datasets, help navigate large collections documents similarity, geospatial context underlying concept, provide annotations via standardized interfaces third-party applications.
