摘要: Eucalyptus grandis and its hybrids, as well Acacia mearnsii, are important non‐native trees commonly propagated for forestry purposes in South Africa. In this study, we conducted pathogenicity trials to assess the relative importance of five isolated Phytophthora spp. (Phytophthora alticola, P. cinnamomi, frigida, multivora nicotianae) from plantation environment on E. A. mearnsii seedlings. Overall was more susceptible tested than mearnsii. cinnamomi only pathogen that had a significant negative effect both host tree species, leading reduction root shoot weight death case grandis. alticola nicotianae exclusively affected respectively. This study updated current knowledge two commercially species
