摘要: There is no doubt about the importance of Geo-ICT in risk and disaster management. Systems that make use geo-information are used all activities before, during after occurrence a disaster. In this chapter we address before disasters. Special attention will be given to geo-information, such as maps, topographical etc. A brief analysis current maps their limitations sets stage for research could overcome some present unsatisfactory aspects maps. Access provision spatial information examined with respect needs emergency response systems challenges management discussed.
