摘要: This chapter presents a potential method of achieving dexterous control prosthetic hand using brain-computer interface (BCI). Major successes with invasive BCIs have been achieved by recording the activity small populations neurons in motor areas cortex. Even single can be used to directly computer cursors or muscle stimulators. The combination this direct neural anthropomorphic prostheses has great promise for restoration dexterity. Based on users’ requirements functional prosthesis, fully robot is required. Recent work our laboratories developed two new technologies, Neurochip and Anatomically Correct Testbed (ACT) Hand. These technologies are described some examples their performance given. We conclude describing advantages merging these approaches, goal hand.
