摘要: Abstract Background The reported effects of biliary injury on health‐related quality life (HRQOL) have varied widely. Meta‐analysis methodology was applied to examine the collective findings long‐term effect bile duct (BDI) HRQOL. Methods A comprehensive literature search conducted in March, 2012. Because HRQOL surveys differed among reports, BDI and uncomplicated laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) groups' scores were expressed as sizes (ES) relation a common, general population, standard. negative ES indicated reduced HRQOL, with substantive reduction defined an ≤ −0.50. Weighted logistic regression tested (versus LC) follow‐up time whether physical mental substantively reduced. Results Data abstracted from six publications, which encompass all reports after current, peer‐reviewed literature. analytic database comprised 90 computations representing 831 patients 11 unique study groups (six five LC). After controlling for ( P 0.001), more likely [odds ratio (OR) = 38.42, 95% confidence interval (CI) 19.14–77.10; 0.993) compared LC patients. Discussion This meta‐analysis peer‐review indicates that, comparison LC, there is detrimental
